Banbridge Motor and Sport Car Show, Sat 13th and Sun 14th August , beside Bannville House Hotel, Lurgan Road, Banbridge, Co. Down, BT32 4NR (for those with sat nav’s)
REMEMBER: This show is your show – if you have a nice car to enter, we want to have it in Banbridge on 13th and 14th Aug 2011.
1. NI Chest Heart & Stroke Association is the nominated charity and will be in attendance both days and will also be carrying out Health checks if you want one.
2. The show is open to ALL motorsport cars, modified cars, classic, vintage, American and any other interesting cars, trikes and bikes.
3. Road Safety demonstrations by both NI Fire Service and PSNI Road Safety Roadshows on both days.
4. Live band on stage both days, local rocknroll band ‘Last Known Addiction’.
5. Trade Stands.
6. Kiddies entertainment will include Bouncy Castle, Bouncy Slide, Rodeo Bull, Gladiator Duel and Merry Go Round.
7. Club Stands.
8. Rallycar Simulators.
9. FormulaOneCarHire Simulator.
10. Someone calling himself or herself ‘The Stig ?’ will be in attendance.
11.Overnight Camping / Motorhomes area.
12. Parade of show vehicles through town centre both Sat and Sun evening at 6.00pm.
13. Open-air barbeque at 6.30pm at Bannville House Hotel on Sat night 13th.
14. Show Dance in Hotel on Sat night where Show King & Queen will be chosen.
15. Food & Beverage Marquees in Show field both days.
16. Ladies pampering section in Bannville Hotel including such things as Nail, Beauty, Hair and Jewellery.
17. Red Bull girls with their cars and Dodge truck will be attending.
18. Taxi Service on Saturday 13th to and from Town Centre (Small fee involved).
19. Entrance on the day is Adults £5.00. Children under 12 free.
20. Entrance fee for Show vehicles is £8.00 per day (€10.00) or £10.00 (€12.00) for the two days.
21. Open to the Public from 12.00 noon to 6.00pm each day.
Cars taking part in the ‘parade of Show vehicles’ at 6.00pm each evening must be Road Legal and abide by the Highway Code, any non-road legal cars may be trailered in the parade. The idea is to close the show each evening by bringing the show to the people of the town so that they can enjoy the spectacle of all the cars in the town centre. This will be strictly marshalled by ourselves with Stewards and by the PSNI. It is important that we create a good image for the car scene to non-believers.
* Cars not registered for the show and not on display within the Show will not be permitted in the ‘parade’ through the streets.
